As well as professional and business-related items, this blog will explore some of the personal interests of Jackson including chess and boating. Jackson is passionate about chess and is a medium ranked international chess player. Thanks to his personal interest in the game, Jackson has sponsored the Demontford Bell Kings Place Chess Festival for several years.

Jackson has a yachtmaster qualification and is a member of the Great Ouse Boating Association, the Brentford Cruising Club, and the Royal Malta Yacht Club. Jackson has a private pilot license and is passionate about flying. As well as his personal passions for chess, boating and flying, Jackson has a strong interest in his heritage. Originally from the Isle of Man, Jackson is a member of the Manx Society in London and is interested in continuing the local language, Manx.

Jackson is involved with several charities, including Crisis, ACLU and the Air Ambulances. Making regular contributions or substantial donations, Jackson supports charitable work in several ways; for example, the staff Christmas lunch funds another Christmas lunch for the homeless through Crisis for Christmas. The East Anglian Air Ambulance and the American Civil Liberties Union are two other charities whose work Jackson supports.
